Miniature Tigers were an American indie pop band formed in Phoenix, Arizona in 2006 by the singer and guitarist Charlie Brand and the drummer Rick Schaier, who met through Myspace; the group began as Brand's bedroom-recording project before expanding to a full band and relocating to Brooklyn, New York, where it remained based, with later members including the guitarist Algernon Quashie and the bassists Alex Gerber and Brandon Lee.
