The Gospelettes released the song "Tribute in Prayer" (Designer # 45-6922), sung by Leroy Wodlington (who also received the writing credit) - born in Oxford, Mississippi in 1951. He started out as a musician and deacon, and is currently the Pastor of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, Indianapolis, Indiana. (1) This song actually has identical lyrics to "Tribute in Prayer (From a Soldier in Viet Nam)" by Rev. Oris Mays, who got the writing credit on that record - so there is a discrepancy over who wrote the song.
