About the artist
Dick Whittinghill (born 1913 in Montana; died 2001) was an American singer and broadcaster. He sang with the Pied Pipers before becoming the long-running morning disc jockey at KMPC in Los Angeles, where he worked for some forty years. 'The Square' was issued on Dot 45-16701 in 1965.
