The song "The Soldier's Prayer" (Show Biz # SBR-0502). plight of the soldier, narrated from man fighting in Vietnam. released in 1971, it referred to the "winding down" of the war under Nixon, and that casualties were "at an all time low". But even so, his buddies were still being killed, so he pleaded to god "tell us why...it still goes on, and brave men still must die". This was first single on the Show Biz record label, based in Nashville. Show Biz had previously been a TV production company, which expanded in 1968-69 into a record label. (1). Ott's single was introduced on NBC-TV program "First Tuesday" on 7 September 1971, as reported in Billboard.
