Geoffrey Meteliko - a Polynesian musician born in Tonga, his last known address was Pacific Palisades, California. (1) (2) He attended school in Tonga and Hawaii, he later graduated from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah. He moved to Los Angeles where he began his musical career. (3) The song "P.O.W. & M.I.A." (Aki Records # AKI-101) did not have a date on, but was probably released early to mid-1970s. The narrator addressed the soldiers, expressing sympathy for their position and declaring that "somebody cares...we're gonna bring you home". Produced by Bumps Blackwell.

About the artist
Geoffrey Meteliko was a Tongan-born singer and songwriter who came to the United States by way of Brigham Young University's Hawaii campus and worked the American supper-club and Polynesian-revue circuit, appearing at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, the Camelback Inn at Scottsdale and Don the Beachcomber at Marina del Rey. He recorded the single "Si'i 'Ofa (You Are Lovely)" / 'Got To Find A Way' for Happy Tiger Records in 1969 and 'That Lovin' Island Man' for Main Track Records (MT-5001) in 1976.
