In the song "Our Daddy's in Vietnam" (Basic # PRP-181), by Sandy & Sue - the "Powell Sisters" - a couple of young child girls displayed patriotic support for their father fighting in Vietnam. They sung that without his work "we'd loose our freedom land". The girls wishes that they could also "fight this war" to help their father. In the middle of the song, one of the girls entered into a spoken-word monologue, recalling a happy family scene when their father. Released in Nashville, Tennessee. Composed by B. Powell.
