Graham Nash, born 2 February 1942, in Blackpool, Lancashire, UK, is well-known for being a member of The Hollies and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, the later of which he recorded several anti-Vietnam War songs (in the era of the war, such as the single "Ohio / Find the Cost of Freedom"). As a solo artist, he released the song "Oh! Camil (The Winter Soldier)" (Atlantic #SD 7288) about an anti-war veteran, called Scott Camil. (1) Nash was heavily involved with the Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW), helping to raise money at a benefit in Detroit, 1972. He also released the Vietnam War-related songs "Chicago" (Atlantic #10 017) and "Military Madness" (Atlantic #45-2827).
