Hardcore Punk / Alternative Rock group, formed in 1979 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA. The group disbanded on 17 December 1987 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Membership included: Bob Mould (vocals, guitar, piano, keyboards, percussion, bass), Grant Hart (vocals, drums, percussion, piano, keyboards, vibraphone, slide whistle), Greg Norton (bass, vocals), Charlie Pine (keyboards, 1979). The song "Newest Industry" ( SST Records # SST 027) contained general Cold War atomic imagery, referencing the Vietnam War: "Well, Vietnam was Little League compared to where we've been".
