Pop rock artist born 8 September 1979 in Doylestown, Pennslyvannia, USA. The song "My Vietnam" (Arista Records # 07822-14718-2) starts with the sounds of war - helicopter, gun fire.... and a patriotic reference to her father going off to war: "daddy was a soldier, he taught me about freedom". In fact, her father Jim Moore was a Vietnam veteran, so this is a true story. (1) She then uses Vietnam as a metaphor for personal challeges, such as how to deal with homelessness (problems in 21st century society in general perhaps), education, and parental relationships. The song ends with an electric guitar rendition of the USA national anthem.
