The song "Me voy para Vietnam" ("I'm Going to Vietnam") (Bego # BG-281) by Agustín Gallardo - although on this record his name appeared as "Augustin". The song was also on the album Pienso en ti. Billboard referred to this album on 13 May 1967, so presumably this single was also released in 1967. (1) The record label was based in McAllen, Texas, USA, founded by Arnaldo Ramírez, who, as discussed above, also founded several Mexican-American labels in Texas: ARV, Falcon, and Bronco. He featured in Billboard on 25 November 1972, in an article focusing on the explosion of Tex-Mex music. (2)
