About the artist
Lotion were an American indie rock band formed in 1991 in Manhattan, New York City, comprising Tony Zajkowski (vocals and guitar), Jim Ferguson (guitar), his brother Bill Ferguson (bass) and Rob Youngberg (drums); they recorded three albums for spinART Records, 'full Isaac' (1994), 'Nobody's Cool' (1996) and 'The Telephone Album' (1998), and attracted attention when Thomas Pynchon wrote the sleeve notes for 'Nobody's Cool'.
