The song "Love's Stronger Than Hate" (Peace Records # P-7162) by the Love Generation - both band name and track title sound very 60s and hippie - not surprisingly, it is a peace song. It was written by Wayne Spence of Ohio, Cleveland. He also released this song under the name Wayne Spence & Smiling Faces (Peace Records # 30433), backed by a song called Thank God for Peace, about the ceasefire agreement between the US and North Vietnam in 1973. The narrator of this track called on people to look at what is going on the US, not just in Vietnam: "they say the war in Vietnam is wrong, but just look what's happening here at home". The song concluded that "love will conquer all in the end".
