Deep soul vocalist who cut three 45s in 1966-67 for the Shreveport-based Jewel/Paula labels - 'I've Got You on My Mind Again' (Paula 240), 'The Push' (Jewel 775) and 'Little Tin Soldier' / 'Feelin' Blue' (Jewel 782, 1967) - sides Charlie Daniels confirmed he wrote and produced early in his career.
