About the artist
Shad O'Shea (real name Howard Norman Lovdal; born Sacramento, California; died 5 June 2009 at a V.A. hospital, aged 78) was a radio personality and record man who moved to Cincinnati in the early 1960s to work at WCPO, owned Counterpart Records and Counterpart Creative Studios, and was associated with Fraternity Records - one of Cincinnati's last great record men, producing a large catalogue of regional 45s including novelty material into the 1980s.
