About the artist
American children's choir created in 1955 by Easter Beakly and Arthur Granger of the Granger Dance Academy in Long Beach, California, with members representing many nations; 'Let There Be Peace on Earth' was written for and first sung by the choir by Jill Jackson-Miller and Sy Miller, who led its rehearsals 1955-57. The choir remained active for decades (TV appearances incl. The Danny Kaye Show, 1966) and its VWSP tracks appear on the 'Songs for a Peaceful World' 45.
