Annotation
The R&B song "His Homework's Done (Give Your Son a Gun)" (Bab-Roc Records # 007) by Phil Barr - once again, a totally obscure artist, and undated record. It was released on Rosco Gordon's New York label Bab-Roc, formed in 1969 (considering the catalogue number, this record may have been released 1969-70). The narrator said that people were complaining about "violence and hate, how the world's gonna change". Yet, they allowed children to play with toy guns and soldiers, and games like cowboys & Indians, cops & robbers. The narrator warned "give you son a gun and teach him...maybe his time will come".
