Walter LeRoy 'Lee' Moore (born 24 September 1914 in Circleville, Ohio; died 17 August 1997), known on air as 'the Coffee Drinking Nighthawk', was an American country singer and radio announcer whose all-night show made him one of the best-known voices of the WWVA Wheeling Jamboree; he broadcast from stations in Shenandoah Iowa, Charleston and Fairmont West Virginia, Ashland Kentucky, Roanoke and Harrisonburg Virginia, Knoxville Tennessee, Mount Airy North Carolina and Portsmouth Ohio, recorded for the Wheeling and Cross Country labels, cut a series of duets with his wife Juanita Moore, and…
