Annotation
Punk Rock group formed in December 1981 in Vigo, Galicia, Spain. Its original line-up included: Julián Hernández (vocals, drums, clarinet), Miguel Costas (vocals, guitar, 1981-94), Alberto Torrado (bass, keyboards, guitar, 1981-87), and Germán Coppini (vocals, 1981-83). On this album they released the song "Fuera las manos chinas del Vietnam socialista" ("Out Chinese Hands of the Socialist Vietnam") (DRO # DRO-014), in which the narrator said that "we work for the Vietcong on the outskirts of Saigon" - the Vietcong (or VC), is the National Liberation Front (NFL), the political and military resistance to the US and South Vietnamese government from within South Vietnam. It noted Chinese influence in the country: "read Mao-ze-dong...yes open red book for me" - a reference to Mao Zedong, the leader of the People's Republic of China (1949-1976). The song presented anti-Chinese sentiment and interference from the perspective of the Vietnamese.
