About the artist
William H. 'Bill' Floyd (1935-2024), born in Willacoochee, Georgia, was a country singer, DJ and syndicated-TV host prominent in the Tampa Bay, Florida region from 1945; he cut roughly 49 sides for Starday, Topic, Wayside, Minaret and others, including 'Freedom's Cause' (Topic 8017, 1966).
