Sonny Starns - very obscure rockabilly artist, with no biographical details known at this time, released the song "Everybody Wants a 'Lil Peace'" (Kom-A-Day Records # 302). The record label was founded by Floyd Soileau, and is based in Ville Platte, Louisiana, owned by the "Flat Town Music Co", which still exists today, and has a record shop, called "Floyd's Record Shop". (1) Starns also released the 78rpm shellac "Baton Rouge, La." on Lanyap Records, based out of Baton Rouge, LA., and the 7" single Tangi-paho, released in Hammond, LA (on Silon Records). The narrator pleaded with the United Nations for peace, and suggested that one needed to go live in Alaska with an Eskimo to achieve that goal. The lyrics noted "in the far east, in Vietnam, they just gave a little to Uncle Sam".
