Annotation
The song "En Vietnam" ("In Vietnam") (BMC # 45-15260) by Daniel Santos, born 6 June 1916, in Santurce, Puerto Rico; died 7 November 1992, in Ocala, Florida, USA. The song appeared on the album Daniel Santos en Vietnam which featured a picture of a soldier writing a letter in a fake-looking trench (see immediately below). The songs tells that sad story of two soldiers killed in action (K.I.A.). The first soldier received a letter "in Vietnam...in the undergrowth between blood and cold fire", from his Uncle saying that his son had already died in the war. Due to the sadness of losing his son, the father forgot that he was in a war position, and "a bullet went through him" and he subsequently died as well.
