Ervin "Vin" Bruce (born 25 April 1932 in Cut Off, Louisiana; died 8 June 2018 in the Cut Off/Golden Meadow area, buried at Cheramie Cemetery, Galliano, Louisiana) was "the King of Cajun Singers" - among the first Cajun artists on the Louisiana Hayride and Grand Ole Opry, a Columbia signing in 1951 ("Dans La Louisiane", 1952, with Chet Atkins and Grady Martin), and a Swallow Records artist from 1961.
