Annotation
Keith Everett (aka Keith Gravenhorst), released in 1966 the song "Conscientious Objector" (TMP-Ting Records # TMP-118), which attacked those who refused to go to war for religious or moral reasons, saying that "you might as well be defectors", and that the US might end up like "Vietnam is today" - thus propagating the domino theory. As the title suggested, it referred to those who refused the draft call under the military classification of either 1-AO (Conscientious Objector available for non-combatant military service), and 1-O (Conscientious Objector available for alternate community service).

About the artist
Keith Everett was the recording name of the American singer and songwriter Keith Gravenhorst, who was active on the Chicago scene in the mid-1960s and who wrote and produced all six sides of his three known singles. "Conscientious Objector", a pro-Vietnam song answering the anti-war position, was issued in April 1966 as the B-side of 'Don't You Know' on TMP-Ting TMP-118, both sides written and produced by Gravenhorst and published by Toddmark Pub.; the A-side entered the WCFL chart in March and reached number ten locally.
