The Lancastrians were an English beat group formed in 1956 in Altrincham, Cheshire (originally The Heartbeats), whose six Pye singles were produced by Shel Talmy with session work from Jimmy Page and Nicky Hopkins; "We'll Sing In The Sunshine" reached UK #44 in December 1964, and their cover of "The Ballad Of The Green Berets" appeared on Pye 7N 17072 in 1966.
