Francine 'Peaches' Barker (Francine Edna Hurd Barker, 28 April 1947 - 13 August 2005) was an American soul singer, the original 'Peaches' of the Washington, D.C. duo Peaches & Herb; during a late-1960s break from the duo she cut solo Columbia singles, including 'Traces' b/w 'Angels in the Sky' (Columbia 4-44910, arranged and produced by Billy Sherrill), the flip co-written by Barker with Georgeanna Tillman.
