Spoken word LP ( RCA Victor # PRM-316) by Richard Nixon 's Vice-President Spiro Agnew (1969-1973). On the record he defended the administration's policy on Vietnam, "The Vice President Explains Our Asian Policy" and "In Answer to Critics of This Asian Policy". Known for his harsh attacks on political opponents, he especially focused on "hippies" and the anti-war movement in the famous speech "Challenge to the Hippies" , in which he described some of them as: "an effete corps of impudent snobs who characterize themselves as intellectuals" .
