Annotation — European Songs
Written on Bandcamp UK, Europe "SOSingle #1, where the shards of the canon reflect what they're not supposed to. Vietnam, a tremendous tragedy as so many wars are, lives overshadowed by swathes of self-interested politicians, a war that did not happen and a place that did not exist before the glass canon shattered. This world and that world are combining beneath the one voice of the storyteller, and this will make recounting it further quite hard, for my documents are getting quite muddled with yours. If you find any approved patents for non-existent products, or recollections of non-existent events, or cassette decks whose ribbons have been restitched and are blaring what they oughtn't, keep those shards for safekeeping; we might just be able to glue it all back together."

Notes
Released Oct 29, 2023 on Bandcamp. Series SOSingles #1. Written by LpH. The release description speaks of fragments of a canon, Vietnam as 'a war that did not happen and a place that did not exist', two worlds merging, with a tongue-in-cheek note about loop-sample licensing through 'The Label, Department of Liaisons With Apple Inc.' Bandcamp digital single, SOSingles #1, released 29 October 2023; its text treats Vietnam as a tragedy overshadowed by self-interested politicians, 'a war that did not happen'.
