Annotation — European Songs

Released in the late 1950s before the key Vietnam War-era with American direct involvement. But at this point, the country had been divided into North and South, with the US Eisenhower administration providing support to the South, to maintain an non-communist state, and thus the foundation of the conflict was under way. Likewise, Russia and China were providing support to North Vietnam. Released in Latvia, under the USSR control of the country, the song "Ханой-Пекин-Москва" ("Hanoi-Beijing-Moscow") (Rīgas skaņuplašu fabrika # 28988) stressed the relationship between the two key communist powers and North Vietnam.
