Notes
"Helft Vietnam!" — benefit 45 of the Westdeutsche Frauenfriedensbewegung (West German Women's Peace Movement), made in Germany, the proceeds to its "Hilfsaktion Vietnam"; Vietnamese folk songs with the German texts spoken by the film actress Lil Dagover and an "Aufruf zur Tat" (call to action) by Martin Niemöller, president of the World Council of Churches (so 1961-68). Orders to Elly Steinmann, Wattenscheid; payments to Elli Halbe, Lüdenscheid (Postscheckamt Dortmund). Cover photo of a Vietnamese girl carrying a baby. Undated — Niemöller's WCC presidency and the label style put it c. 1966-68. [From the record sleeve and labels]
