Annotation — European Songs
LP recorded at the Second Festival of Song in 1976, known as "Alen Mak" ("Red Poppy"), which ran from 1975-1989, in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, organised in communist Bulgaria to focus on political songs with anti-war, anti-fascist, and anti-capitalist content.1 This LP featured the song "Виетнам На Пътя На Победата" ("Vietnam on the Road To Victory") (Balkanton # ВТА 2043), with the performance credited to a "Group of Vietnamese Students at BDK [БДК]" - not sure what the BDK stands for. It also had the song "Песен За Американския Войник" ("Song About the American Soldier"), by Мария Нейкова [Maria Neikova], which could potentially be Vietnam War-related, but this still needs to be verified.Sources1Discogs: %D0%A4%D0%B5%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B8%D0%B2%D0%B0%D0%BB %D0%9D%D0%B0 %D0%9F%D0%BE%D0%BB%D0%B8%D1%82%D0%B8%D1%87%D0%B5%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%B0%D1%82%D0%B0 %D0%9F%D0%B5%D1%81%D0%B5%D0%BD %D0%90%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%BD %D0%9C%D0%B0%D0%BA↩
